About the Project Trilogy Innovations is seeking a Senior Java Developer to support our federal customer onsite in Washington, D.C. This is an exciting opportunity to join our growing team, while taking part in a multi-year initiative to modernize our customer's large-scale IT systems. Job Description: Senior Java Developer The Senior Java Developer is responsible for overseeing program design, development, unit testing, debugging, documentation, and quality assurance reviews. The Senior Java Developer instructs, directs, and oversee other technical personnel. The Senior Java Developer shall report all residual deficiencies, complete all change management activities, including customer's change control boards, and receive approval prior to installing releases into production environments. Shall update all release-related documentation, including, but not limited to, the following: Process Description Document (PDD), Consolidated Configuration Document, System Security Plan, User Manual, O&M Manual, Training Plan and Scripts, Requirements Traceability Document, and as configured application specifications. Security Clearance Requirement (US CITIZENS): Top-Secret Location Onsite: Washington, D.C Full-time (W2) Employment Benefits: Health, vision/dental, life/disability, 401(k) + match Perks: 100% coverage of professional development, phone/internet reimbursements & bonus programs Requirements: Must have at least seven (7) years of software development experience with hands-on practical experience in the specific programming languages and technologies to be used in customizing Java Classes and Objects in Maximo. Shall have at least five (5) years of experience with Maximo. 7 years experience in software development 5 years experience with customizing Java Classes and Objects in Maximo Bachelor's Degree in related field (preferred) Must have an active Top-Secret clearance on day-1 of employment Onsite support in Washington, D.C. (no remote) Experience with working on Agile/SAFe development teams Familiar with IBM Maximo 7.x application configuration and support (e.g., Maximo Integration Framework, Java, and BIRT report writing) Assisting the team with application, interface, workflow, reporting and data integrity issues Support and enhance current Maximo integration components between applications, including java and SQL Provide production support on mobile applications by analyzing day-to-day user feedback to quickly resolve problems, minimizing the business impact Assist with stakeholder training sessions on mobile application walkthroughs as needed Ability to clearly document technical specifications for Maximo 7.x Responsibilities: Sample responsibilities Performs reviews of draft documentation for technical content and compliance with engineering standards.
