As a Regional Director, you will place a key role in managing and motivating program managers, clinical managers, and direct care staff to ensure the highest professional standards of service deliver and customer service are met in each program within the business unit. The Regional Director will provide direct leadership and supervision to Program Managers and Clinical Managers and will oversee the management of day-to-day operations and compliance with DBHDS. They will maintain an emphasis on delivering the highest quality care to all residents, delivered in a cost-effective manner. As well as participate in staff development, training, and program development, while continuously seeking to improve and enhance resident services. They will also represent and promote Intercept's Community Homes at various community and professional forums. The selected candidate will have a minimum of a Master's Degree in a Behavioral Health/ Human Services field (Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, etc.) Virginia licensed as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, as appropriate for services in accordance with Virginia state regulations, is a plus. The selected candidate will have successful experience working with cooccurring population, in include youth within the judicial system and mental health systems; at least five years experience working with children/adolescents, with at least two in a mental health residential facility. Two or more years group home management/supervision or similar experience required. As well as, experience in, or the ability to learn how to effectively utilize an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system which may include authorization tracking, assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, discharge summaries, medical appointments, and medication administration records. Essential duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Effective leadership and interpersonal skills, ability to problem solve and sound decision-making skills Maintain professionalism, both internally and externally Flexibility and ability to adapt creatively to stressful situations Awareness/sensitivity to all issues related to resident diversity Ability to impart knowledge, guidance, instruction, and support to clinicians, program managers, case managers, and direct care staff at various levels of development Strong organizational skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Critical Work Relationships: Internal customers within Intercept Health- all staff/personnel within business unit, and may include TFC, UR, True North, Outpatient, 360, IL, etc. Statewide Court Service Units, various parties within the DJJ system, to include AMI/EBA and any other identified payor/referral source Statewide Department of Social Services agencies, CSA's, FAPT Regulatory/Certification specialists including but not limited to DBHDS, DJJ, and COA Community partners to include but not limited to schools, pediatricians/specialty providers, clinical psychologists, etc. Essential duties include the following.
