We are looking for an IT Systems Administrator with a desire to learn and excel in a fast-paced environment. This full-time position will be responsible for designing, organizing, modifying and supporting Wigwam Mills Intel based systems. This includes acquisition, installation, relocation, support, and maintenance of all computers, printers, networks, data and voice telecommunication equipment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintain all personal computers, Intel servers, networks, and telecommunication systems utilized by employees of Wigwam Mills. Adhere to company and departmental security standards and policies while performing all assigned responsibilities and tasks. Support, patch, configure, install, design, monitor and troubleshoot LANs, WANs, networks, mobile devices, security, Internet, and intranet systems including thin clients, PC's, printers, and servers both physical and virtual in a VMware environment to ensure maximum uptime, security, and performance. Ensure that the terms and conditions of all network and PC software complies with the corresponding provider's license agreement and enforce these license agreements, as defined within the company's electronic communications policy, among all users of the software and network resources. Troubleshoot PC, thin client, server, network, user, and communications problems. Make recommendations to management regarding the purchase and installation of network, PC, and telecommunications equipment and software. Keep informed of current industry developments, emerging technologies, and new trends in personal computing, computer networking, and voice and data telecommunications. Maintain compliance with all company and regulatory policies and procedures. Identify and recommend opportunities to improve and enhance computer and communication services for the company as well as the company's customers and suppliers including cost reduction opportunities. Assist the Co-President/COO in the preparation of the annual IT capital plan and the IT budget. Administer security for all PC's, virtual devices, servers, mobile devices, printers, LANs, WANs and any electronic intellectual property of Wigwam Mills Inc. Perform Microsoft 365 and Email setup as needed, with responsibility of email data backup. Create and maintain necessary documentation when needed. Install and maintain apps and products on our Shopify website. Create labels for finished products using NiceLabel and T.L. Ashford. EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Associates degree in an Information Technology related course. Three to five years of experience in this field is highly desirable. SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Good analytical, logic, and trouble shooting skills in order to determine and resolve problems, to evaluate products, and to interpret technical specifications. Good interpersonal skills to train employees on use of network, PC, and telecommunications equipment, software, and services. Ability to communicate and get along with others; must have good oral and written communication skills to assist users and vendors with requests and problem evaluation and reporting. Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practice. Expert level with Microsoft Windows operating systems. Experience working in an environment that uses VMware virtualized software including VMware Center Appliance and VMware View Horizon. Experience with Microsoft Office 365 and Azure Active Directory. Basic understanding with Microsoft Windows PowerShell and DOS scripting languages. Experience with Linux and Mac systems is desirable. Familiarity with HP Servers and Networking equipment is desirable but not necessarily required. Core networking concepts including distributed LAN/WAN static and DHCP configurations, VPN connections, and Wi-Fi. Experience with FortiGate firewall appliances. Basic networking experience with router and switch commands, functions, and administrative Experience with Barracuda and VMware Veeam backup appliances / software. Experience with Mitel Business Phone Systems, VOIP telecommunication devices, and Collaboration Experience with Distribution Center related devices including hand scanners and bar code printers.
