Requirements: The Kitchen Manager position is a full time management position based on a minimum 50-55 hour work week Basic Functions Responsible for all aspects of daily restaurants operations with concentration on Back of House staff (AKM's, Line Cooks, Dishwashers). Responsible for hiring quality Back of House employees. Communicate and educate staff regarding food procedures, heating and holding temperatures. Monitor all aspects of staff training. Provide direction and leadership to co-managers and staff while maintaining employee morale. Work with the management team to successfully reach established company goals. Ensure that deadlines/tasks assigned by the Regional management team are completed. Responsible to monitor and meet labor/supplies cost control budgets. Maintain accurate inventories, monitor ordering, invoicing, and receiving systems. Enforce company rules and policies established in the employee handbook. Be actively involved in restaurant operations daily and maintain a professional demeanor at all times . Specific duties: Food Monitor food quality to ensure it meets company standards Communicate to Commissary any issue regarding Production facility/Transportation dept. Communicate and educate staff on food preparation procedures/heating and holding temperatures. Monitor and ensure that daily temperature logs are complete Know menu specification/items/allergens/procedures Monitor that all procedures are followed Know inventoried items/yields Requirements: 3-5 years Kitchen Manager experience Outgoing personality Flexibility in schedule Get-it-done attitude Team player - team leader Equal Opportunity Employer Job Type: Full-time Experience: Kitchen Manager: 3 years (Preferred) Additional Compensation: Bonuses Work Location: One location Benefits: Health insurance Dental insurance Retirement plan Paid time off Flexible schedule
