Physician Assistant Aegis Health Care is hiring Healthcare Heroes ! Aegis Health Care is currently seeking a compassionate Physician Assistant (PA) to be part of our Atlas Medical team. Atlas Medical specializes in providing PRIMARY CARE for geriatric patients in senior living communities. The main office is in Mesa, Arizona. Each Physician Assistant (PA) is an important part of the Aegis Health Care team. Aegis specializes in providing care for home health and hospice patients in senior living communities and in home settings. This can be a part-time or full-time role with flexible hours and schedule. Job Responsibilities: Provide primary care services to patients living in long term care, assisted living, and group home settings Manage all aspects of the patients' healthcare and multiple comorbid conditions Consult with and educate the patient/family regarding self-care, disease process, and end of life care The provider is independent in his or her management of the assigned patients; Atlas will provide quality measures that will be expected in the care The provider will work closely with facility staff, patient families, and Atlas/Aegis support staff to provide patient centered care Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the job SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS: Possess a National Board Certification as a Physician Assistant in the state of AZ Minimum of one (1) year experience in a PRIMARY CARE setting or equivalent experience Ability to work independently Organized and self-disciplined Strong communication and interpersonal skills Valid Driver's license, clean driving record and reliable automobile Proof of current automobile insurance Current CPR certification Criminal background check clearance/fingerprint clearance Negative TB test
