With your help, they enjoy life with dignity. You do more than just assist with meals, light housekeeping, bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, and appointments. While those tasks are important, you also provide companionship and socialization as you support them in a variety of activities. You make sure that they are mentally stimulated, physically active, and well-nourished, encouraging independence as much as possible.You also make sure that their environments are safe, reducing the likelihood of accidents and promoting a timely response to illness. You are meticulous about reporting any changes or concerns promptly. In this way, you provide real peace of mind for them and their families. And, you feel great about building relationships with our residents as you invest in their caretaking. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A SENIOR LIVING CAREGIVER / PERSONAL CARE ATTENDANT Current fingerprint clearance card Current food handler's card Current CPR/first aid card Current negative TB report Physical ability to assist residents such as lifting people and objects Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time Are you respectful, discreet, and honest? Do you have both empathy and a clear understanding of appropriate professional boundaries? Are you reliable, punctual, organized, and able to effectively prioritize tasks?
