Position Title : Sr. Unified Communications Voice Engineer Location : Washington, DC Clearance : TS/SCI w/Poly Duties The Sr. Unified Communications Voice Engineer will lead the technical delivery of projects, including design, configuration, and testing of technical solutions for enterprise Unified Communication (UC) Voice communications. Prepare detailed product designs and documentation, ensure all requirements are met, provide financial estimates for implementation and sustainment, deliver implementation schedule with milestones for integration into the enterprise and transfer to Operations for government approval. Ensure designs comply with all applicable Department of Defense (DoD), Intelligence Community, and International Partner interoperability/compatibility standards, current/future system plans, and security requirements. Help define security standard methodologies and develop innovative voice solutions. Responsibilities : Experience in leading-edge unified communication products and the design, development, delivery, and UC System platforms that improve the performance and reliability of existing systems and enable the sharing of information between security domains. UC systems include but are not limited to Call Managers, Chat Servers, Cross-domain systems. Desktop Video Conferencing (DVTC) systems, and Meeting Services. Extensive UC communications systems knowledge should include Cisco CODECs, Cisco Expressways, Cisco Jabber, Cisco Meeting Server, Cisco Telepresence Management Suite, Cisco Unified Call Manager (CUCM), Cisco Unified Border Elements (CUBE), Cisco Webex, Microsoft Teams Services, Session Boarder Controllers, V2CDS/V3CDS, and Voice & Video over Internet Protocol (VVoIP) Endpoints. Highly desirable knowledge Bridging Microsoft Teams with CUCM and other UC Systems, DoD security requirements, DoD enterprise system architecture, Network integration and troubleshooting, installing and configuring systems in an SCI environment, supporting VIP customers. An extensive knowledge of telecommunications protocols H.323, MGCP, SIP, and E.164. Certifications Required - CE Security+ (8570 Compliance) CUCM Manager course Highly desired - CCIE-Voice.
