Expanding program to provide services at more schools! CDAC is seeking master's level clinicians to deliver counseling services to students in a public school setting to build resiliency in youth facing multiple risk factors, so they may lead healthy, productive, drug and violence free lives. The counselor works to provide individual and/or group support to students using evidence-based curricula and counseling theories and techniques. Position available in Okaloosa County at Kenwood Elementary. The positions require a master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work with individual and group support services/counseling experience, preferably within a school-based setting. This is a permanent full-time position with a 10-month schedule, which follows the school calendar. School holidays and breaks are observed, including summer break. The salary is $34,000 annually, based on the 10-month schedule (equals $21.25/hr for actual hours worked per year). You will not need to reapply each year to continue employment. This permanent 10-month position includes a competitive comprehensive benefit package including, but not limited to: health, dental, vision, life and long-term disability insurance, as well as a 401(k) plan. CDAC employment qualifies for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program. Position requires a Level II Background, School District Background, and valid driver's license.
