General Purpose of Position : The technology support analyst is responsible for analyzing, troubleshooting, evaluating, and resolving technology issues with end user devices (computers, mobile devices, printers). Primary Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions) : Providing support by troubleshooting and resolving hardware (computers, printers, mobile devices, and other technology equipment), infrastructure (network connectivity) and software (web-based applications, cloud apps, local applications) issues within established timelines, and where applicable, the approved and established protocols. Staging, configuring, and deploying new and existing personal desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals. Identifying user needs for IT hardware. Providing specialized advice and training to users on the optimal use of computer equipment and software to ensure effective and efficient use by end users. Documenting technology service issue details, investigative activities, actions, and solutions, in the IT Service Management system to facilitate the identification of trends, resolution of recurring issues and overall service delivery. Identifying opportunities for additional areas where superior support can be provided by the service desk. Upon approval, participating in knowledge-transfer sessions and documentation to ensure optimal transition of support to the Service Desk. Assisting in selection and evaluation of hardware and software to add value to the department function and the organization. The support analyst will be responsible for providing instructions to end users on the use of hardware and software. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities : Working knowledge of pharmaceutical industry Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to learn and adapt to demands in a fast-paced work environment. Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a hands-on collaborative fashion with many different disciplines both inside and outside of the company. Education and Experience : Bachelor's degree in information technology required. 1-2 years of proven IT experience, providing exceptional support for end users required. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, Apple Operating Systems, Microsoft Desktop Applications, Adobe Applications required. Strong knowledge of various hardware platforms, Windows Based, Apple Based, Mobile devices, and printers required. Extensive troubleshooting skills in recent Windows environments required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Pleasant, even-keeled temperament with ability to exude servant leadership skills a must. Excellent documentation skills to provide technical as well as customer-facing documents a plus. Ability to decipher user needs/issues from user communications a must. Ability to exude a continuous improvement mindset a must. Excellent customer service skills necessary to effectively interact with employees, team, management, and vendors, resulting in consistently high satisfaction levels. Ability to provide effective troubleshooting to remote users required. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal direction a must. Possesses technical curiosity to constantly increase knowledge a plus. Physical Demands and Work Environment : Ability to sit at desk for extended periods of time Extended viewing of computer screens and manual dexterity to operate office equipment Ability to perform minimal lifting (typically less than 25 pounds), walking, and physical exertion (bending, kneeling, twisting, climbing) specific to physical inventories and related work Good eyesight and critical thinking to read, create and interpret business documents and spreadsheets GENERAL INFORMATION : The expectation for all employees is to support the company's mission, vision, culture, and core values while adhering to all company policies.
