Faith-based family health care center seeking part time and casual LPNs to provide clinical support in a fast paced medical center. The Licensed Practical Nurse supports the Physicians in providing whole-person primary health care through a variety of patient care activities and administrative tasks, under the supervision of the Nurse Manager. Qualified candidates who are bilingual in Spanish and English are encouraged to apply. **COVID and influenza vaccines are required** Performance Requirements : Current LPN license in good standing. Must have outpatient care experience, Pediatrics or OB experience a plus. Minimum of 3 years of experience as an LPN Typing/computer, electronic medical record, flexibility and medical assistant technical skills. Ability to communicate clearly; work independently and as a team member. Job Responsibilities: Room patients (vital signs, screening questions; obtain and test urine specimens; take capillary blood sugars; do appropriate lab tests and vaccines Assist practitioners with exam and/or treatments Clean and prepare rooms between patients. Phlebotomy, EKG's, give injections and other procedures as ordered. Stock and reorder supplies Sterilize equipment Assist with laboratory control procedures according to CLIAA guidelines, including monitoring of refrigerator and incubator temperatures. Bring abnormal control and temperature readings to the attention of a supervisor. Compensation: Commensurate with experience.
