Fabrication/Lamination Operator Summary: We are looking for a Digital Fab/Lamination Operator to assist with the completion of a variety of the operational tasks of the department. This position needs to have a good understanding of the different media and ink types, how they interact with lamination, as well as all the properties and applications of all the substrate used. This position is also responsible for the fabrication of jobs, this includes but not limited too the application of lamination, cutting and trimming of digitally produces signage. Position Responsibilities: Safe use of X-acto knives and proper use of the Laminator are essential Understanding how to complete print jobs according to specifications on the Production Order Making suggestions that may enhance cost, quality, efficiency and delivery of products from the department Adequately proof all files according to the established procedures ensuring quality output Basic qualifications: Ability to speak, read and write English Available for weekend work schedules and overtime Required to lift up to a minimum of 50lbs Required to follow safety instructions and adhere to safety procedures Reasons you'll love working here: Health and safety are a top priority with all of our roles and sites.
