We are looking for a Process Engineer that is motivated to do quality work and further their career in our growing company. Our Process Engineer is a key technical lead to manufacturing for daily operational support to maintain and improve product/process quality standards. Our Process Engineer will plan, direct, and coordinate the development and improvement of our manufacturing processes. Duties include, but are not limited to, the establishment of new or modified operating standards and procedures along with the training of operating personnel, interfacing with all necessary groups within the organization to support the development of new products from concept to commercialization, coordinating the design, acquisition, installation, and start-up of new equipment, as well as managing associated capital projects. Qualifications : BS in Engineering required (Mechanical or Chemical) 1-5 years of experience in an Engineering and/or Manufacturing role Working knowledge in a film processing industry with direct process line responsibility Proficiency in computer applications (CAD, Microsoft Office Suite) Basic understanding of mechanical equipment operation & troubleshooting Lean-Sigma experience with knowledge of tools and applications Excellent writing, verbal communication, and presentation skills Must have excellent math skills and the ability to work with measurements and ratios Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment Responsibilities: Evaluate and improve on processes in manufacturing systems Maintain reliable and safe manufacturing systems while improving production rates, efficiencies, yields, costs, and changeovers Develop innovative and creative solutions for legacy opportunities Execute DOE/sampling plans, including preparing samples for study, performing material testing, communicating results Develop and implement systems that optimize all phases of production process Coordinate the design, acquisition, installation, and start-up of new equipment, including managing the associated capital project Ensure projects and other commitments are completed in a timely manner Additional duties as assigned Pay: $65,000+ with experience Job Posted by ApplicantPro
