Summary: Anchor Construction Corporation has an immediate opening for a full-time Director of Field Operations, Electrical Group. Primary Duties & Responsibilities: Support and abide by our number one company goal: SAFETY, including QUALITY PRODUCTION for all crews daily. Manage employees from the Superintendent level to the Crew level (both Subcontractor Crews and Anchor Crews) Visit the jobs daily to ensure the delivery of safe, quality, and timely work from the Superintendents, Foremen, and Crews. Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within the boundaries of company and customer policies. Investigate potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures. Provide strong, effective, communication with the Project Management Team, Superintendents, and Field Personnel. Understand and manage project budgets. Review and approve Foreman Daily Timecards for proper project cost code utilization in accordance with the project budget. Other duties as assigned Required Qualifications: Must have 10-15 years of experience with electrical transmission, distribution, and substation infrastructure with knowledge of Power Systems up to 34 KV a plus. Ability to read and analyze feeder maps and scheduling outages. Ability to obtain LOTO (Lock Out Tag Out) Certification with Pepco. Manage Subcontractors working on systems up to 69 KV. Firm understanding cable installation and splicing associated with electrical infrastructure. Understanding of service meter installation. Understanding of installation of single and network transformer systems. Understanding of and ability to implement training requirements to stay in compliance with industry and owner standards. Experience in managing multiple employees with regard to scheduling, compliance, discipline, attendance, training Must be comfortable spending most of the workday in the field Experience with the electrical union a plus Able to apply innovative and effective management techniques Ability to develop strong customer relationships with employees, customers, and vendors Ability to handle multiple priorities effectively and efficiently Maintain and abide by all safety requirements Perform duties assigned by Supervisor Estimating experience with cable projects a plus.
