YOUR STORY AS AN ASSISTANT STORE MANAGER As an Assistant Store Manager, you have the important job of keeping us stocked up on inventory and fully staffed. You also oversee our operations when our manager isn't in, which makes you a key player on our team. Each day, you come to work ready to help us attain our objectives and put our customers first. As part of your retail management duties, you prepare the store for opening or closing, stock the inventory, and perform some general housekeeping. You ensure that the shelf price labeling is correct and help implement product changeovers. Well-trained in our processes, you also perform some battery installations, testing, and other tech work. Assisting with our staff management is another of your important tasks. With a friendly demeanor, you help supervise our employees in their daily duties, answering questions and resolving any concerns that arise. You also assist with interviewing and hiring new team members, and you welcome them onboard with your usual warmth and enthusiasm. A team player, you are willing to jump in wherever you are needed to ensure that our operations run smoothly. A well-ordered, well-stocked store is a thing of beauty in your eyes, and you are proud of the part you play in our success! WHAT WE NEED IN AN ASSISTANT STORE MANAGER High school diploma or equivalent 1+ years of retail experience 1+ years of experience in a management or supervisory role Do you have great communication skills, both verbal and written? Can you clearly explain technical details in terms anyone can grasp? Are you an effective worker both on your own and as part of a team? Can you prioritize your time to meet deadlines and adeptly manage multiple tasks? Are you a resourceful problem solver?
