Doane University , a nationally recognized liberal arts and sciences university in Crete, Nebraska, invites applications for the position of Director of Campus Engagement . The successful candidate will provide leadership, strategic vision and planning for a comprehensive portfolio of programs and services that drive co-curricular involvement for all Doane University students. The Director fosters the development of student organizations, their individual members and advisors; contributes to student leadership development and connection to the larger Doane community. Diversity, equity and inclusion are mission-imperative areas in the Doane community, and the director should be a leader in promoting an inclusive and equitable environment. Co-curricular programs must model an environment that supports students of all identities, worldviews, and backgrounds, while actively identifying and eliminating systemic barriers that have created disparities in outcomes for underrepresented students . Required Education/ Qualifications/Skills/Abilities: Master's degree 3-5 years of experience in student affairs or related fields Experience leading large-scale events with a focus on the student experience Demonstrated commitment to and support of diversity, equity, and inclusion Strong interpersonal communication, collaboration, and conflict resolution skills with the ability to work with a diverse population of constituents, including but not limited to, students, faculty, staff, and alumni Evidence of effective team-building that embraces participative, student-centered decision making and broad communication Demonstrated experience in problem-solving and decision-making Strong project management skills with the ability to work on multiple objectives simultaneously Demonstrated financial management skills Preferred Education/ Qualifications/Skills/Abilities : Master's degree strongly preferred plus Prior supervisory experience and experience with fraternity and sorority life preferred At Doane you will enjoy balance between life and work: At Doane, you'll find that we're sensitive to your life outside of work, and we want our employees to enjoy their time at Doane as much as they enjoy their time away.
