What You'll Do: The Graphite Machinist is responsible for working alongside fellow machinists to handle our graphite machining operations. In this role, you will: Work within our ERP system for time card entries, selection of assembly /operations and evaluations, and access upcoming work for preparation. Mount and prep graphite into fixturing. Import CAD data and determine what size cutters, speeds and feed rates are needed. Create CAM programs and edit tool paths using CAM software. Import programs on the CNC machines. Place graphite in the CNC machine and operate to perform cutting. Monitor machines and examine parts for accuracy and quality defects. Make adjustments as necessary to achieve desired outcomes. Perform repairs where needed. Bring forth a winning attitude!
