This Line Cook position earns a competitive hourly wage of $20.00+/hour , depending on experience. As a full-time employee (35+ hours/week), you would also be eligible for health, short, & long-term disability insurance after 60 days and will be enrolled in a generou s paid time off program (PTO) . A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A LINE COOK As a Line Cook at our country club, you arrive each day determined to ensure that every meal that leaves our kitchen lives up to our quality standards. You set up and prepare the line for service with all necessary supplies, ensuring food items are correctly stored and rotated. To ensure consistency and guest satisfaction, your portion and cook food according to our standardized recipes and assemble and plate food appealingly. Your attention to detail ensures that each dish meets our established guidelines in every aspect and adheres to any special requests. To ensure that adequately cooked food gets out to diners on time, you communicate effectively with other kitchen and front-of-house staff while working in an organized, coordinated, and efficient manner. You maintain the cleanliness of food prep areas at all times and follow food sanitation standards to the letter. You even help create recipes and daily or weekly specials when called upon. You love working in a fast-paced culinary environment. Your friendly attitude and professional approach towards coworkers, members, and guests contribute significantly to our country club's success. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A LINE COOK Understanding of basic kitchen skills Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time Ability to lift to 35 lbs. Are you highly responsible and reliable? Do you work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment? Can you work cohesively as part of a team? Are you always service-focused, calm, and courteous?
