DIRECTOR, 3D PRINT SALES AND SERVICE BACKGROUND :NCS is a growing innovator, manufacturer, and integrator of a wide range of computing devices for enterprises of all sizes with strong focus in the public sector including the military, Federal agencies, and state/local government. Our company is also very enthusiastic in the adoption and promotion of Additive Manufacturing technologies to simplify, strengthen, and bring responsiveness to the supply chain. In addition to maintaining a 3D print facility to produce a wide variety of parts for our own use which has allowed us to develop and sharpen our skills and expertise considerably, NCS also relies on our knowledge to consult, sell, and service 3D printers from a number of industry leading OEMs. We are seeking a Director of 3D Print Sales and Service to lead and grow this business. POSITION DESCRIPTION: The Director of 3D Print Sales and Service will be responsible for organizing, leading, and managing our 3D Print business. The individual appointed to this position will serve as the 3D Print champion at NCS to our OEM partners and customers. The individual must be versatile and flexible to manage multiple efforts, including selling equipment, supplies, and services, developing and maintaining relationships with strategic OEMs, and overseeing the provision of installation and repair services. In addition, this individual will also have P/L responsibility and other general business management responsibilities. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Sales Management Develop and process leads from OEMs and all other sources to generate sales. Direct and participate in the overall sales efforts including visiting customers and coordinating with OEM sales teams. Propose, collaborate, and coordinate with NCS Marketing to launch ad campaigns, exhibit at tradeshows, and attend events to drive lead generation. Work with OEMs to obtain MDF funds and other contributions to offset 3D marketing expenses. Manage and grow the outside sales team. OEM Relationship Manage NCS' relationship with OEMs who authorize NCS to sell and service their equipment. Identify OEMs whose products are conducive to NCS' business growth and build reseller relationships with them. Ensure NCS is in good standing with each OEM by maintaining compliance with their business, technical, reporting, and periodic meeting requirements. Actively participate and assist OEMs with their marketing activities to generate leads for NCS. Service Management Maintain oversight of all service activities being provided by personnel managed by a different team within NCS. Ensure service tickets and calls are managed and closed out properly in full compliance with OEM SLAs for billing and incentive earning purposes. Negotiate customers' agreements to pay for service personnel travel expenses that are customary in the business and consistent with OEM service billing policies. Ensure billings to OEMs and/or customers account for all expenses, including travel. Business Management Organize and work with OEMs and NCS personnel to issue timely and accurate price quotes for equipment, supplies, and services on an on-going basis. Maintain oversight of sales orders entry and timely delivery of products and services customers order. Stay in close contact with customers to ensure customer satisfaction, providing feedback to all relevant teams within the company, and driving quality improvement initiatives as necessary. Coordinate with Engineering, Operations, and a third-party service provider to make sure all involved in the sales and service efforts are following guidelines, procedures, maintenance and support processes to ensure smooth operation of installed 3D equipment, meet OEM SLAs, and maintain a customer friendly demonstration facility. Organize and maintain supervision to make sure that service reimbursements and 3DaaS subscription fees are properly accounted for and received. Provide management with reports on sales, pipeline, service operations, and P&L standing. 3D Print Technology Championship Maintain watch of 3D print technologies, market trends, OEM ecosystem, its adoption in the economy, etc. to formulate effective strategies to cultivate and grow business for NCS. Obtain approvals from management for new 3D print initiatives and oversee their implementations in the company. Study and present to management a business case for NCS to enter the 3D parts supply business and implement it if approved. QUALIFICATIONS: To carry out his/her duties and responsibilities, the individual must possess the following qualifications and personality attributes. Bachelor's degree in an engineering or science discipline or other relevant field of studies Minimum of 10 years of experience in all facets of the 3D Print business including sales, marketing, services, business management, etc. Mastery of the English language, both spoken and written Some knowledge of the FAR/DFAR and Government/DOD procurement practices desired Knowledge of Government contracting, specifically RFPs Possess a natural affinity for 3D Print technologies and familiarity with the industry in general including its leading OEMs, distributors, service providers, and products and services Strong work ethic and ability to multi-task on a sustained basis Must be able and willing to adhere to a Work from Home (WFH) schedule with occasional Work in the Office (WIO) at NCS headquarters when necessary Must be able to maintain a suitable working environment at place of residence to project a professional image in on-line meetings with other parties Willing and able to travel occasionally by car, commercial airlines, and other means when appropriate Strong interpersonal networking skills and able to build relationships with individuals with diverse personalities Experienced in growing and managing a team of sales professionals Strong analytical skills and must possess the ability to separate "the wheat from the chaff" efficiently in determining when and where to focus resources COMPENSATION: Commensurate with experience and abilities.
