CNC Machinist Sign-on Bonus* At Team Jtec, we manufacture our own patented CarryMore Tugger Cart System that enables companies to cut costs and move more material in an increasingly cost and safety focused Material Handling/Manufacturing Industry. Jtec experienced a 20% growth rate in 2018 and we are setting processes, procedures and staffing for continued growth this year as well. We'd love to talk with you on how you can be a part of this Growth! We are looking for a CNC Programmer/Machinist with 1-2+ years of manual and CNC programming/machining experience to set-up, and operate a variety of manual and CNC machine tools to produce machined components. Duties and responsibilities Machine parts to specifications, using machine tools, such as lathes, milling machines, drill presses, shapers, or grinders. CNC and manual Calculate dimensions or tolerances, using instruments such as micrometers or calipers Set up, adjust, or operate basic or specialized machine tools used to perform precision machining operations Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, or materials onto machines Measure, examine, or test completed units to check for defects and ensure conformance to specifications Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process Maintain machine tools in proper operational condition Organize machine programs Responsible for managing tooling needs Have all pieces verified by quality (in the event that quality is not available, use the "buddy system" to ensure quality of pieces) Ensure all parts are labeled and have job travelers with correct parts and record count for those parts Study sample parts, blueprints, drawings, or engineering information to determine methods or sequences of operations needed to fabricate products Keep the assigned work station swept and cleaned as necessary, keep clutter and trip hazards out of work areas Use PPE, per training, as required for the specific task being performed Other jobs and/or duties as directed by Supervisor or Operations Manager Compensation and Benefits Starting Wage Dependent on Relevant Education & Experience Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance Flexible Spending and Dependent Care Accounts $15,000 Company Paid Benefit Life Insurance Supplemental Disability and Life Insurance Paid Holidays, Vacation, and Sick time 401(k) Retirement Plan and Company Match Program Equal Opportunity Employer Jtec is an equal opportunity employer.
