Arrow Child and Family Ministries is seeking a compassionate individual to provide structured, goal oriented and time limited Family Centered Treatment ® (FCT) in the natural environment to families who need assistance recovering for a variety of issues including but not limited to mental health needs, substance abuse, physical, sexual, and emotional abuse and neglect. FCT® will be provided to children and families as an alternative to other services including residential placement, Intensive In Home, and Multi-systemic Therapy. FCT clinicians must complete an intensive training program and work with some of the most challenging and complex client systems. FCT clinicians are required to work with the entire family system and address problematic Areas of Family Functioning as outlined in the FCT Model. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following Other duties may be assigned as necessary. Provides consultation, instruction and direction to other Arrow residential staff, residents and referral agencies. Interviews residents to assess functioning to develop residents' initial needs and individual treatment plan. Identifies and develops placement and treatment recommendation for resident and referring agency. Develops a professional treatment plan that meets resident's needs and complements services provided by other treatment team members. Works with referring agencies to assure appropriate authorization of treatment. Provides direct clinical services to residents to include but not limited to individual, group and family therapy. Completes written documentation of initial resident assessment and ongoing treatment and progress through discharge. Provides appropriate communication, liaison and coordination with school systems and community resources regarding child abuse/neglect, guardianship/custody, and other clinical issues. Develops and assists in the implementation of discharge and aftercare plans. Participates in in-service training of direct care staff. Provides crisis intervention to prevent escalation of high-risk behavior, relapse, hospitalization, placement disruption and other negative outcomes. Participate in emergency on-call response system. Responsible for maintaining client data into the state client information system, Children's Services Outcome Measurement System (CSOMS). Required to obtain and maintain Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths (CANS) certification in order to conduct CANS assessments on all residents. Attends trainings and meetings as required. Shares/transmits the mission and vision of Arrow Child & Family Ministries to staff and to clients and families served. Review client files on a quarterly basis to access service plan implementation, progress towards desired outcomes, and future appropriateness of service plan. Perform all duties within contract, state and federal regulations, Arrow policy, and COA standards. May be required to drive ACFM vehicles, be insurable with our auto insurance provider, and complete Arrow's vehicle training. Education, Licensure and/or Experience Master's Degree in Social Work or related field with LGSW or LGPC and at least one (1) year experience working with children and families preferably in a residential setting.
