Customer Service Representative (Manufacturing)

SPIROL Stow Ohio has a full time opening for a Customer Service Representative. This position is responsible for handling all order fulfilment, order review, order entry, acknowledgement, order tracking, customer portal management, and proactive communication as it relates to order processing and acknowledgement for a manufacturing facility. RESPONSIBILITIES: Develops strong one-on-one business relationships with SPIROL's customers. Provides a timely and accurate response to a customer order and inquiries on all products. Reviews customer service related requirements and ensure that these requirements are documented so that any customer service representative could process new orders effectively in the future. Performs a thorough review on new orders per the Order review Process and places any order which does not pass order review on order discrepancy (OD) hold for sales action. Maintains the customer part number cross reference (number and revision level). Maintains the customer address book including shipping/packing list notes. Enter customer complaints in the CAR Database to ensure that the customer receives a timely response to any service related issue. Coordinates processing of customer credits resulting from discrepant parts, invoicing/pricing errors, and other required adjustments, and initiate replacement orders. Keep the RGA database up to date. Proactively communicates with customers the following. Delivery schedule changes (production delays). Projected delivery/freight challenges (holiday/strikes). Accounts Receivable issues which could cause a shipment delay. Any other matter which could potentially adversely impact a customer. Ensures notes behind the order are explicit, informative, dated and initialed. Promotes continuous improvement by taking the initiative to identify issues and provide solutions with the goal of reducing cost and improving performance. Minimizes waste and conserve energy through reuse, recycling and following Environmental Management System practices. Perform all other work as assigned by his/her manager. RECOMMENDED QUALIFICATIONS: Associates degree in business, communication or English preferred Prior customer service experience (or have worked at least one year at SPIROL) Strong phone experience preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Possess the ability to work with minimal supervision and be a self-starter to develop solutions to solve prevent problems before they arise.
