. Sacred Heart PSH Program is looking to hire a Mental Health Professional (MHP) to work as a collaborative member with program staff, managed care organizations (MEDICAID), and Unity. Responsibilities of the position include: Utilizing best-practices to assist clients in formulating achievable treatment plan goals Leading/providing individual and group counseling Completing and maintaining authorizations Collaborating with other agencies on client's behalf Maintaining progress reports and record keeping Connecting clients with outside community resources as needed. This is a fulltime position, working 12 months per year. The MHP will receive the ongoing support and consultation of their immediate supervisor, a Licensed Professional Counselor. Minimum Education/Experience: Must be a master's level clinician. The qualified candidate must possess a master's degree from an accredited school of social work or counseling program. (LMSW is required for all clinicians with a Masters in Social Work). Experience in client advocacy and strong clinical knowledge. Experience working with the homeless population is a plus.
