Facilities Maintenance Technician

Description:
Position Summary Perform the general upkeep of the facilities and its infrastructure. Maintain building operations and equipment operations to ensure a safe and functional environment is provided for personnel and to provide continuous operational functions. Identify risks and implement mitigations to reduce impact to operational functions of the business. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Facilities Maintenance Perform routine maintenance and upkeep around the facility, such as fixing structural damage, windows, doors, wall repair, basic plumbing. Maintain the facilities electrical systems, coordinate with contractors for electrical repairs as needed. Maintain the facilities HVAC systems, coordinate contractor repairs and maintenance as needed. Apply preventive maintenance measures to facilities to reduce the risk of future problems that may impact production or employee quality of life. Maintain the exterior grounds of the property, to include landscape and snow removal. Identify safety hazards and risks and implement corrective actions to prevent workplace incidents. Equipment Preventive Maintenance Maintain equipment operation by coordinating maintenance and repair services; following manufacturer's instructions and established procedures; requesting special service. Upkeeps accurate documentation of Preventive Maintenance and reports monthly status to supervisor. Maintain inventory of maintenance and repair items to ensure maintenance is completed on-time and risks are reduced of significantly impacting operations. Continually improves the Preventive Maintenance system. Other Assists Manufacturing Engineering, as required. Assists with related special projects, as required. Qualifications Education and/or Experience Technical certification (HVAC, Electrician, Plumbing, Machine Repair, Carpentry) or a combination of education and experience of at least five (5) years. Knowledge of common Microsoft Office applications. Preferred Qualifications Facilities Maintenance Professional Certified Facility Manager ISO 9000 and ISO 13485 Quality Management Experience FDA cGMP Experience, Medical Device Experience a plus Job Posted by ApplicantPro
