We offer Health, Dental and Vison Insurance, generous paid time off and a great employee discounts! Summary: Clean, disinfect and sterilize medical equipment by performing the following duties. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Clean, disinfect and maintains equipment in a timely manner. Follow all infection control procedures outlined in HME Specialists' Policy CDS-016, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) while handling contaminated or potentially contaminated equipment and/or supplies. Follow all disinfectant/sterilizing agent manufacturers' use instructions and safety precautions. Keep cleaning area free from contamination and in compliance with infection control policies and/or procedures. Ensure equipment is properly marked, covered and segregated in appropriate areas. Perform cleaning and maintenance between customer use. Perform scheduled maintenance per manufactures specifications and documents maintenance when required by manufacturer. Perform functional checks on cleaned equipment. Compliance with HME Specialists Policies and Procedures. Support the HME Specialists' Mission Statement, vision and values. Participate in Improvement of Operational Performance (IOP) activities. Maintain and sterilize equipment. Complete required annual and monthly on-line Courses. Participate in traditional and e-learning programs. Follow proper building closing procedures. Perform other duties or special projects when necessary. Support the HME Specialists' Mission Statement, vision and values. Adheres to HME Specialists culture and behavior standards.
