The Role: JMARK is looking to add a Project Manager (PM) to our team. They will be responsible for planning, executing, and evaluating projects according to predetermined timelines and budgets. You will work with the Engineering Team, Projects Team, Service Teams, Clients, and Stakeholders to communicate expectations and progress with the projects. Duties and Responsibilities: Keep projects on time and on budget Build relationships with clients always maintaining strong communication and client interaction. Escalate problems to the Director of Projects and Implementation, and recommend solutions. Review all deliverables prepared by the engineering team before passing it on to our clients. Excellent knowledge of resource allocation across cross-functional boundaries. Create and get sign-off for the project plan, including review-and-refine cycles. Ensure all deliverables are of appropriate quality level, and success measures are met or exceeded. Communicates effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions. Involved in planning and managing project schedules and budget, and ensures that technical projects follow those plans. Monitors the project from initiation through delivery including planning and directing schedules and monitoring budget/spending. Establishes effective communication with managers across technical and non-technical departments in order to identify key plan tasks and due dates. Be the central hub of communications for people working on the project including the steering committee, project team, working group heads and external experts. Monitors the product/program/project from initiation through delivery, interfacing with external customers or field-based employees on technical matters, as needed. SDLC - Develops, defines and executes project plans, schedules, budgets and deliverables. Identifies needed resources for projects, defines and assigns major project roles. Manages the plan and oversees the development and implementation with the Application manager of new or upgraded products and/or manages the creation and implementation of corporate processes. Knowledge of business and management principles involved in project planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources. Create and execute communications plan (encompassing internal project team communications, project participant communications, and stakeholder communication. Skills and Qualifications: 5+ years of software project management experience or similar work experience Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience Must work well in a team environment. Must be able to learn independently Ability to lead and manage others Experience with Agile and Waterfall Project Management principals. Knowledge of flow charts including both business and system flows and of programming logic and code. Ability to write technical instructions in the use of programs and/or program modifications. Excellent skills with Microsoft Word Office, Project, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc. Ability to pay attention to detail Excellent analytical, decision-making, leadership, organizational, and project management skills. Working knowledge of ConnectWise to review project details and timelines, and have the ability to update ticket information in the system Broad knowledge of billing, timekeeping, bookkeeping, and computer inputting Ability to solve problems Ability to manage time effectively Proven project management skills spanning application and infrastructure solutions Strong organizational, leadership, problem solving and influencing skills Familiarity with different types of SDLC/software development methodologies including formal and Agile methodologies.
