Monitor, build, maintain, diagnose, troubleshoot various different network architecture performance issues. Writing and updating both system documentation and network diagrams. Primary responsibilities to include network security/cyber security administration. Implement, plan and coordination of security systems and software that protects the technological infrastructure of the organization, monitoring of firewalls, networks, security/cyber security applications, cybersecurity traffic and threats in real-time. Prevent, identify, and remediate systems or network vulnerabilities. Create and enforce network and system security authorization, protocols and plans. Responsible for disaster recovery, backup operations and securing company information. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Employee shall perform all duties and responsibilities with Sunland's Core Values at the forefront. Must be an advocate of safety and follow safety policies and procedures. Fully support, configure, design, maintain and upgrade corporate network infrastructure (LANs, VLANS, WLANS, WANs, SD_WANS, VPN, SAN), network segmentation, internet, circuity connectivity. Administer all networking infrastructure equipment, hardware and software upgrades. Analyze local and wide area network systems and testing. Provide design, migration, implementation and deployment of networking services and guidance. Oversee the disaster recovery, backup operations, securing company data, business network continuity and growth. Ensure infrastructure and systems are protected, monitored, secured from intrusion and data is protected. Maintain/monitor firewalls, routers, security/cyber security applications and services to ensure a secure, protected environment. Review/defining network and business security policies, procedures, and protocols. Regular review and remediation of network infrastructure security vulnerabilities, internal, external, pen Perform, maintain, testing of integrity of reliable backups, DR and business continuity plans. Help support integration and connectivity for multiple divisional offices in state/out of state. Assist with companywide support of telecommunications phone system, access control and video security solutions. Assist as needed with Helpdesk responsibilities supporting local and remote end users/equipment. Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential. Strong leadership, team mentoring and communication skills. Any and all other duties assigned. Physical Demands and Work Environment This position operates in a professional office environment that routinely uses standard office equipment requiring the ability to communicate in person and over the telephone with other employees, the ability to interpret printed materials and a computer screen, the stamina to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions, the ability to lift and carry supplies and files weighing up to 50 pounds and to move about the inside of the office to access supplies, office machinery, etc. May be required to work on a project site and if so, would be exposed to all weather, including extreme hot and cold temperatures. Employee might be exposed to various chemicals, vapors, pollutants, virus or other air-borne pathogens, gases, uneven surfaces, loud noises, moving vehicles or machines and dust/debris. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Occasional overtime may be required as job duties demand. Travel Must be able to travel to any and all field up to 25% to offices and jobsites without exception (including staying away from home if necessary). MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education and Work Experience A Bachelors or Graduates degree in Computer Science, engineering information systems or technology. Five plus year's industry experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in Network infrastructure engineer, network security administration, network management best practices, controls, and protocols. Operates successfully and independently in a fast-paced, high-intensity work environment. Cisco certifications & IOS, ACL, QoS, ETA, IoT, DNS, IPSec, WAAS, Kerberos, Radius, VM, VDI, Azure, AWS Cisco Nexus 9K, Meraki, Palo Alto, Layer 3 & 7 Firewalls , vulnerability management, DDOS, Zero-Day On premise and cloud infrastructure. Highly organized with attention to detail. Able to work individually and as part of a team. Ability to communicate effectively supporting companywide offices and end users. Certifications in networking helpful. Certifications, Licenses, and Registrations Passing a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening and background check is required.
