Sayres is seeking an experienced Mid-Level Structural Engineer with a current SECRET clearance, verifiable in DISS in Washington, DC. Responsibilities : Provide engineering/technical support for concept studies; feasibility studies; preliminary design activities; contract design activities; detail design and construction activities; independent design reviews; In-service ship design and engineering activities; shipboard installation support; and special studies related to ships/boats/craft, ship systems and/or shipboard equipment. Preferred Specialization: DoD/DoN procedures and Policies (DoD 5000 process); Foreign Military Sales; Military Sealift Command procedures and processes Qualifications & Clearance Requirements Minimum Skill Sets of Qualified Candidates Bachelor's degree in Engineering. 3+ years DoD/Navy program management, Government technical management, or Industry business management Secret Clearance verifiable in DISS/JPAS Preferred Skill Sets of Qualified Candidates Master's degree in Engineering.
