Summary/Objective The Accounts Payable Specialist at Zund America is responsible for accurately coding, computing, and recording expense transactions into the ERP system along with proper maintenance of vendors records and details. This position requires absolute confidentiality and attention to detail with a high level of accuracy. What you would do: Acquires and maintains signed and dated W-9's from all vendors Acquires ACH banking details from vendors for reduction of paper checks Assists in the compilation of 1099's at year-end Receives in, codes, and acquires approvals for vendor invoices Codes invoices to appropriate expense accounts Matches outgoing purchase orders to received invoices Enters coded invoices into ERP system on a timely basis Reviews Credit Card statements against approved SAP Concur reports Looks-up, reviews, and codes employee activities for Service Trips in ERP System (Salesforce) Codes, enters, and authorizes freight invoices from UPS, FedEx, and other carriers Enters daily cleared transactions into monthly bank statement reconciliation Reviews and reports invoices for Use Tax reporting May be assigned other duties or projects (as needed) What we require from you: 3+ years of Accounts Payable experience and associates degree in accounting Critical thinking and detail oriented Energetic, self-motivated, honest, dependable, reliable, and follows directions Knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP) and reporting Competency in MS Office, databases, and accounting software Besides the fantastic state of the art facility and career growth we also offer an excellent Benefit Program that among others includes Medical, Dental and Vision Coverage, Life Insurance, Long-term and Short-term Disability Insurance and a Retirement Plan (401K).
