The Fort Miller Co., Inc., a manufacturer of precast concrete products located just east of Saratoga Springs, NY, has an exciting opportunity in our engineering department as our business supporting heavy highway construction throughout the Northeast continues to expand. Excellent benefits are provided, including: Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) AND 401(k) with company match Generous paid time off, including vacation, paid sick leave and holidays Tuition reimbursement plan that pays 100% of continuing education expenses Comprehensive medical, dental and vision insurance with an employer funded HSA Fully paid life insurance and disability protection plans Responsibilities of our Design Engineer: Assist in the overall design and technical effort needed to support the sale, engineering and production of precast concrete products Perform design calculations Develop detailed manufacturing drawings Interact regularly with contractors, consulting engineers and/or government entities to develop and get approvals for manufacturing drawings Qualifications of our Design Engineer: BS in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, or a related field Proficiency with AutoCAD or other CAD platforms Construction experience preferred Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, attention to detail and the ability to multi-task Strong interpersonal skills are essential, as daily interaction with engineers, contractors and public agencies is required About Us: The Fort Miller Co., Inc. is a subsidiary company of The Fort Miller Group, Inc., an employee owned company.
