8am-4pm, Monday-Friday Summary: The Procurement Manager manages and directs the Purchasing teams in the procurement of good and services. Evaluates, recommends, and implements new Purchasing policies and procedures and assures they are adhered to. Assists in contract negotiations to assure best pricing and quality. Essential Duties and Responsibilities for the Procurement Manager: Manages and directs the procurement team activities and personnel Reviews and maintains purchasing policies to assure proper internal controls are in place and being adhered to Assures bid policy requirements are being met Coordinates contract negotiations with vendors, collaborating with Accounts Payable Manager Performs risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements Builds and maintains long term relationships with vendors and suppliers Reviews existing contracts to ensure on-going feasibility and cost saving opportunities Maintains contract renewal listing and coordinates with departments and vendors to ensure continued delivery of supplies and services Responsible for the overall coordination of assuring we are consistently monitoring and taking advantage of cost savings and quality improvement Overseeing evaluation of quality, pricing, reliability and availability of goods and services Coordinates and monitors medical supply inventory to ensure proper inventory levels and avoid spoilage based on utilization and census Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and increase effectiveness Qualifications: Education/Certification- BS in Accounting, Finance, or business related field preferred Knowledge of procurement principles and best practices Experience - Minimum of 5 years directly related experience & 3 years Supervisory experience, Health Care Preferred Proven experience in sourcing and vendor management Hospice offers a Robust Total Rewards Package Employer 401k contribution regardless of employee participation, and match on employee contributions there after Health Insurance with vision component copayment plan, or high deductible plan (FT status) HSA with high deductible health plan twice annual Employer contribution (FT status) Dental Insurance (FT status) Flexible Spending Account (FT status) Paid Time Off PTO & NYS Sick Leave Tuition Assistance Program And Much More!
