Job Snapshot: Perform environmental field work including Phase I/II ESAs, media sampling, construction observations, brownfield inventory, industrial hygiene, and/or natural resources fieldwork Support project team with day-to-day project execution tasks Participate in the conceptual design and layout of projects Travel to project locations and attend client meetings Compile, interpret, and report data to meet project quality assurance requirements under Federal state, and/or client programs Prepare technical reports and visual data presentations, including maps, cross sections, and data tabulations Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering, geology or environmental related science 5 to 8 years of experience conducting and managing environmental projects Working knowledge of State and Federal regulations, and experience interacting with regulatory agency representatives Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability and willingness to accommodate overnight and out-of-town assignments Routine lifting required: 40 to 50 lbs. Preferred Qualifications: OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training Experience with proposal preparation and business development Why work at S&ME?
