Metal Fabricator/Saw Operator - 1st Shift

Primary Purpose: We have immediate openings on 1st shift (M-F 6:30am-3pm) and 2nd shift (M-TH 3pm-1:30am) for new team members in our Fabrication department with future opportunities to learn new manufacturing skills in other work areas Primary Responsibilities: Ensures that all work is done in accordance with and adheres to Quality standards. Demonstrated ability to problem solve in a machine shop environment and work independently or on a team. Be responsible for personal safety and the safety of the team. Good attendance and punctuality and willingness to work overtime as needed. Understands and promotes company's mission, values and policy. Qualifications: Must be able to read / interpret blueprints Familiar with measuring tools using fractions and decimals Be detail oriented Be able to identify different types of materials Basic knowledge of Marvel automatic saws Must have basic knowledge of Unipunch System General knowledge of break press operation General knowledge of iron-worker type equipment The above skills are not all required. Graber Mfg. is willing to train to suit our needs Work Environment: The majority of work will be performed in a manufacturing facility with noise levels typical to that environment. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Employee must adhere to the company uniform policy including the wearing of steel-toed/safety-toe shoes and safety glasses. Physical requirements: The ability to move freely with sufficient reflexes to use hands and power tools to complete the tasks efficiently. Ability to perform the same task repeatedly. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
