We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Accountant to join our growing Accounting Team. If you are an ex perienced and detail-oriented accountant looking to take your career to the next level, inquire today! Some responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Posting daily and monthly entries to the general ledger Assist with month end and year end close Prepare general ledger account reconciliations in accordance with company standards and post journal entries to the general ledger Assist with the preparation of the budget and forecasts Perform monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc financial reporting and analysis of the balance sheet and income statement Investigate, document, and analyze workflow to generate process improvements Process sales and use tax returns All other duties as assigned Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Strong time management and organizational skills Excellent accuracy and detail-oriented skills Effective troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, especially advanced Excel skills Ability to work independently as well as with a team Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in accounting Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience in an accountant role Prior experience with NetSuite, preferred Strong knowledge of accounting concepts, practices, and procedures (GAAP) Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including VLOOKUP and pivot tables
