Description:
Job Summary Performs quality inspections of product, maintains quality documentation, and assists in quality audits Performs receiving inspection, in accordance with PATC procedures, of procured parts and materials (metal details, assembly items, tooling, etc.) including data entry as required into statistical databases and Oracle Performs In-Process inspection along with Final Inspection Must have working knowledge of AS9102 FAI requirements and complete AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) as required Maintains historical documentation of receiving records including supplier test reports and certificates of conformance in a manner that is easily presentable to customers and auditing agencies Uses various gauges, Faro Arm and other devices to confirm conformance of parts to customer specifications at incoming receiving, in-process and final inspection Assists in performing internal audits of PATC systems and processes at the direction of the Quality Manager Generates and provides QA related data and reports to customers as needed Interprets customer specifications and prints for inspection of parts and incoming materials Assists in performing audits of potential suppliers Assists with customer and regulatory audits Interfaces with customers and regulatory agents as needed Education/Experience/Skills Required High School Diploma or equivalent required One to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Must have basic knowledge of computers with Microsoft Word and Excel experience Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this job, the employee is: Frequently required to sit Use hand to finger, handle, and/or feel Ability to speak and hear is required; use of corrective devices is allowed Occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. Frequently bend, lift, and/or move up to 40 pounds.
