The Server will greet guests, answer questions, recommend menu items, and serve guests. Servers will use the Company's Core Values to guide your day to day decisions with guest, team members, and your leadership team. Essential Duties & Responsibilities , the essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Welcoming guests, reading and listening to people to determine preferences, making recommendations, and taking food and drink orders. You will also upsell items, and inform guests about specials. Checking identification to ensure guests are the legal age to purchase alcohol. Adhering to all food safety and quality regulations. Handling cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring charges are accurate. Using POS to input orders and tender payments. Maintain great communication with hosts, buses, bartenders, and kitchen. Maintaining a clean work and dining area by removing trash, cleaning tables, as needed. Assisting General Manager with other assigned duties Performing other work-related duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities): High School Diploma or equivalent preferred Additional education, training, certificates, or experience preferred Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays Positive, engaging personality, and professional appearance Basic math and computer skills Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills Strong task and time management abilities Punctual Eye for detail and understanding of drink mixing tools and techniques Ability to stand, walk, bend, etc for extended periods, and lift up to 50 lbs He/She is "down to earth"...but can also "get down to business"
