A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A REVENUE CYCLE DIRECTOR As a Revenue Cycle Director, you play a vital leadership role in our medical billing and coding office. You confidently lead a team in all aspects of the revenue cycle for our practice. Motivated to succeed, you arrive at work ready to take on the day and complete many important tasks, including managing our practice's revenue cycle, managing the department budget, analyzing medical billing practices, evaluating contracts, and ensuring payments are received and in accordance with their negotiated contracts. Highly driven and organized, you regularly evaluate your team through established key performance indicators to pinpoint any areas for improvement. You diligently report any findings to the CEO, ensuring the channels of communication always remain open. You plan, assign, and direct work as well as appraise performance, reward and coach, and address employee complaints. Thanks to you, your department is kept up to date with all the necessary rules and regulations and receives precise training in all aspects of the department. You get great satisfaction in knowing your leadership and expertise help you greatly improve the relationships between our physicians and their patients ! QUALIFICATIONS FOR A REVENUE CYCLE DIRECTOR Bachelor's degree (BA) or 5+ years of revenue cycle experience in a management role Knowledge about medical billing rules and regulations Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification Proficiency with MS Office Suite, MS Outlook, and electronic medical records systems Are you an experienced leader?
