CARESTLHEALTH is a Federally Qualified Health Center serving St. Louis communities and school - based operations. Position Summary: The Clinical Auditor monitors all organization's clinical activities, departments, and functions. The person in this position is also responsible for compliance and overseeing reporting and audits, of clinical departments, such as medical, pharmacy, dental, laboratory, radiology, behavioral health, quality, and nursing. Essential Functions: Developing clinical compliance auditing plans based on thorough research on studies conducted by government agencies and professional organizations. Conducting, managing, and overseeing external and internal audits for clinical departments. Audit clinical departments and policies for those department sand ensure that all are following said policies, including but not limited to, reviewing all relevant clinical programs and activities affected by industry regulations, including records, reports, and software. Compiling reports on the results of clinical external and internal audits and presenting these reports to the relevant supervisors and department heads. Assist with and implement changes in clinical departments to address procedures and practices that are not compliant with industry regulations. Education: Bachelor degree in the relevant industry Requirements: 2-4 years related experience, understanding of governmental regulations and reporting, 2-4 years auditing experience preferred. Additional Information: Clinic hours are Monday - Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. 11 paid holidays per year. Full benefits package.
