Supportive Services Counselors Hudson, NY $2500.00 Sign on Bonus!!! What does a Supportive Services Counselor do? Teach people with disabilities new skills. Assist people with disabilities with medication, grocery shopping, laundry, cleaning, running errands, banking, and cooking. You would be assigned a caseload where you can build relationships with the people you support and help them achieve the life they would like to live. You have access to agency vehicles, cell, and laptop. This position provides time in the office and out in the field. Each day is different, but you get to organize your daily schedule. We would not like to forget the fun that comes along with this position. This includes a walk with someone, meals at a restaurant, basically the normal fun things we all like to do. The best part is that you get to make a difference in someone's life and maybe the people we support will make a difference in your life. Pay rate: $16.50 hour plus an extra $2.00 hour for hour's works Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 am 11:00 pm Join our Team and you will be amazed at the relationships you create. We have a position/schedule for YOU!! These positions cover hours during the afternoon, evening, and some weekend hours. If you are a caring nurturing person with a strong desire to help others this is the job for you. Requirements of the position A valid NYS Driver's license or the ability to convert an out of state license within 90 days. Ability to be certified in all required trainings (Trainings are held during daytime hours) Occasionally required to lift up to 50 pounds. One-year experience working with individuals with disabilities.
