FDY, Inc., Food Service Management Company has immediate openings for part time Special Event Servers for all catering events.As a Special Event Server, you will be playing an instrumental role in representing FDY, Inc., through greeting guest and providing them with a great customer service experience. Essential duties and responsibilities Assist with complete setup and breakdown of the banquet area. Assist with coffee break setup and other beverage items. Assist in serving all guest. Work with a sense of urgency Maintain a high level of cleanliness and awareness of sanitary practices. Anticipate guests' needs and exceed customer service expectations. Respond urgently and appropriately to any guest concerns. Ability to maintain positive attitude and follow verbal directions in a fast-paced environment. Ability to circulate the room insuring that all guest needs are met. Extreme attention to detail and quality. Skills and Requirements Must be able to occasionally lift or carry items 25-50lbs. Professional appearance and mannerisms are a MUST. Must carry a pleasant smile and can communicate with guest. Must have at least one year of experience as banquet server or other banquet positions Prefer high school diploma. Food Handlers certificate a plus MUST HAVE WORKED AS A SERVER FOR CATERED OR SPECIAL EVENTS WAGES The rate of pay is based on applicants experience and specific requirements for the role.
