LC State invites applicants for the position of CNC Machining Technology InstructorSalary and rank based on experience and qualifications: $50,000 - $53,535 Required Qualifications: 8-years of current experience in related field; or Associates degree in related field with 5 years of current field experience in related field; or Bachelor's degree in related field plus 3 years of current experience in related field Preferred Qualifications: Teaching experience in a technical college, accredited trade school, or as an industry trainer; A Bachelor's degree in a related field Two years supervisory of management experience as a machinist Five or more years as a Machinist or Manufacturing Engineer Familiarity with Haas brand equipment and be able to teach CAM Software Responsibilities: Instruct and supervise students in the CNC Machining Technology program. Develop, plan, implement, and revise program and courses, curriculum, and lesson plans. Evaluate student progress in attaining goals and objectives. Maintain lab equipment and program/personal certification requirements; attend faculty and educational meetings. Assist in recruitment, retention, and job placement efforts as well as ensuring safety and security for the program. Work with program's advisory committee, industry representatives, and employers to facilitate job and internship opportunities. Operate and maintain program budget, contribute to college-wide goals and activities by serving on committees and other institutional activities. Applicants are required to complete CTE teacher training courses for Idaho Teaching Certification.
