A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ASSISTANT CHEF In this position, you're responsible for taking charge of the kitchen operations and ensuring that the quality of the food is top-notch. You work closely with our executive chef to plan menus, create innovative dishes, and maintain high standards of food preparation and presentation. Your day-to-day tasks include assisting with food preparation, cooking, plating, and supervising kitchen staff. You also ensure that the kitchen is always clean, organized, and safe to work in.
