Position Title : Administrative Receptionist REPORTS TO : SVP Retail Engagement SUPERVISES: No JOB STATUS : Non-Exempt JOB GRADE 6: $31,054.40 - $46,592.00 Annually JOB SUMMARY : This employee is responsible for serving as the first point of contact at our administrative offices, providing service to all levels of the organization from staff to Executive leadership. In addition to welcoming guests, this individual serves as a community liaison and is committed to ensuring all visitors, members, and employees are promptly served and supported. In addition, this employee provides a variety of basic transaction services to members, serving as back-up to branch and call center operations as/if needed. This employee is further responsible for greeting and directing internal and external telephone calls to the appropriate staff, taking initiative and follow-up to provide the best possible member/community member experience. DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES: Represent the Credit Union to the members in a courteous and professional manner and provide prompt, efficient and accurate service in the processing of transactions. Make appointments for various staff or for specific employees, such as executives, including directing visitors to the correct office or branch location. Perform routine transactions, including but not limited to opening accounts, issuing temporary checks and ATM cards, processing deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments, and transfers; check cashing, cashing, and cross selling all other credit union services and products. Accurately perform all teller functions including, but not limited to, deposits, withdrawals, transfers, payments, processing of night deposit and mail transactions, cash advances and issuance of official checks. Respond to member requests, problems, and complaints, and/or directs them to the proper person for specific information and services. Assist members with Bill Pay inquiries/resolve issues Assist members with Mobile Banking questions, inquiries, and trouble shooting. Assist with debit card issues, problem solving, instant issues, and disputes. Understand compliance issues & attends training, including but not limited to, Bank Secrecy Act; Reg P; Patriot Act. Receive, separate, and distribute mail. Monitors office supplies and maintains cleanliness of front desk, main entrance, and surrounding areas such as the member lobby. Performs other duties as assigned. EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE: Education or experience equivalent to a High School diploma or G.E.D certificate. Over One and half years of experience in a customer-service and public-facing role, including experience performing a wide array of administrative duties. QUALIFICATIONS: Exceptional communication, organizational and multi-tasking skills. Must have knowledge of office machines and equipment and be able to type. Patience, tact, enthusiasm and positive attitude toward the members and general public. Job Related Travel - As required. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be capable to execute all terms and conditions set forth in the Employee Handbook, including but not limited to: Works in a safety conscious manner which ensures that safe work practices are used in order not to pose a risk to self or others in the workplace. Adheres to policy on Drug Free Workplace. Complies with company policies and procedures and local, state and federal regulations. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Requires sitting for long periods of time, some standing, walking, kneeling, stooping, bending, lifting, grasping and fine hand coordination. Visual and aural acuity required. Finger and hand dexterity required. Must be able to lift 15 pounds maximum, with occasional lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 10 pounds. Requires ability to remain calm under stressful situations. Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.
