Wellness Nurse Edelweiss Village at Deutsches Altenheim is a skilled nursing residence and post-acute care provider that consistently delivers high-quality, compassionate care while focusing on the development of innovative programs and services that enable individuals to live as independently as possible. We are seeking a Wellness Nurse that takes pride in delivering excellence in serving others, especially our elderly population. Edelweiss Village is an active, vibrant Assisted Living Community and is a part of our campus with an outstanding team of professionals who go above-and-beyond each day in the care of our residents. Position Summary: We are looking for a Wellness Nurse who has a desire to be a part of our extended community. The Wellness Nurse works as part of a team and is directly responsible for providing high quality care to our residents while being a constant companion striving to protect, nurture and sustain the residents in a competent, caring and kind manner. In addition to providing high quality care, the Wellness Nurse will be providing limited medication assistance, assessments as well being a liaison with families. Qualifications: Current LPN or RN License in the state of MA Experience working in a geriatric setting Commitment to excellence in caring for our residents Excellent communication skills in relating to family members and other medical professionals Deutsches Altenheim conducts extensive background checks and professional references are required for all potential employees.
