We now have a national presence with current projects, spanning coast to coast, including North Carolina. We offer management of projects throughout the United States, with our field operations' team members who work on location for each of our projects. We specialize in fast-track projects in new commercial construction for both public and private clients, with a primary focus in the Department of Defense market. We are looking to hire several Sheet Metal Foreman to join our self-perform team for ongoing work on Camp Lejeune, NC. All work is to be performed on the military base and is paid the required Davis-Bacon prevailing wage, specific to the Camp Lejeune, NC military base. Our Sheet Metal Foreman will be responsible for the daily supervision, direction, and coordination of Sheet Metal crews. The Sheet Metal Foreman is responsible for ensuring the fabrication and installation of ductwork, air distribution, and HVAC equipment on an active construction site are completed within project requirements, targeted budget, and schedule. Work involves technical application of mechanical principles, as well as management capabilities. This is all to be done using the appropriate equipment and implementing the required safety practices in support of RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values. Requirements for this position include: High school diploma or G.E.D. is the minimal education required for this position. College/Technical courses in HVAC Technologies, Construction Management, and/or Engineering preferred. 2 or more years work experience in a Sheet Metal Duct Foreman position (Scheduling, ordering, field supervision, quality control, safety, and production of all phases of construction) over mechanical trades on medium/large projects is required. 3 or more years (or equivalent) field or trade work experience as a journey-level sheet metal worker in a commercial, industrial, or facilities operations setting is required; government, military, or large commercial construction experience preferred. Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Internet, etc.) preferred. CPR, First Aid, OSHA 30-hour Certifications, EM-385, and STS required. Training can be provided. Bi-lingual a plus.
