Illinois Orthopedic Network of Chicago, IL is seeking to hire a full-time Orthopedic Clinic Supervisor to ensure that patients are receiving the highest quality healthcare services possible. We are looking for a competent Clinic Supervisor to direct, supervise and coordinate staff and activities necessary for our medical operations. Bilingual. In Spanish preferred. This position comes with a competitive starting wage based on years of experience. You will be the facilitator of meaningful communication between medical staff and the go-to person for the unit's administrative needs. You will ensure that information is stored and disseminated correctly between medical staff and patients. You will work directly with the Practice Manager in the development of the staff including department competencies, evaluation, performance correction, patient safety, and customer service-related issues. The focus will be on developing and enhancing clinical knowledge, technical skills, clinical decision-making skills, professional performance standards, and interpersonal skills that nursing and care staff use to provide quality services. Responsibilities: Provide leadership in clinical practice and act as a resource and role model for clinical practice. Provide leadership, supervision, and support to nursing and care staff in the provision of clinical/care support services in a professional manner. Develop and maintain good collaborative working relationships and channels of communication with all physicians and PAs. Monitor, evaluate, and correct staff performance relating to care/clinical practice and assist the Practice Manager in raising the standards of practice. Assist in coordinating daily staffing to ensure that all shifts are covered. Attend management and other meetings as required. Act as a role model Ensure adherence to clinical policies and patient care guidelines at Illinois Orthopedics Network. Undertake any other reasonable duties which may be assigned to you by the Practice Manager. Can integrate well with, and contribute to, an evolving management team. Ability to accept and delegate responsibility, make sound judgments and accurately assess when to refer issues to the Practice Manager. Manages own workload effectively. Demonstrates a high level of oral and written skills.
