Our Teacher I assists the site supervisor in the day-to-day operations of the center including, planning, carrying out activities, maintaining the classroom environment, supervising children, parent/teacher conferences, guidance of classroom volunteers and overall maintenance of center. Full-Time Position: M- F Year-round 40 hours per week Salary Range: $ 15.50 to $ 18.22 Benefits: We offer a full range of full- time benefits including health insurance at a cost of $75.00 a month for employee only coverage. 13 paid holidays, sick leave, vacation time, and Employee Assistance Program (EAP). After meeting eligibility requirements, we have dental, vision, AFLAC and a 401k plan available for election and dependent coverage subject to the cost of the plan. Qualifications/ Education/Experience: Some experience working with young children Child Development Associate Teacher permit required within six months of hire 12 ECE units, including core courses. 6 units must be infant/toddler focus California Health and Safety Certificate Current CPR and First Aid Special Requirements Physical Examination, proof of current negative TB test, immunizations required by Community Care Licensing and current influenza shot.
