(ARI) has provided outsourced accounting and bookkeeping services to small and medium sized businesses and non-profit organizations throughout the Northeast. The team is rapidly growing. Located in the heart of Glastonbury CT, we make our clients' needs our priority. We are seeking a hands-on and self-motivated Accounting Manager interested in managing client engagements. The Accounting Manager should have the ability to be an individual contributor as well as work in a team environment. Job Responsibilities: Perform financial review and analysis, as well as preparation of financial statements Convey understanding of business issues and opportunities to clients Direct and manage the work of support staff on site and remotely Address clients' accounting and financial questions and issues Oversee the accounting functions for your client base Develop strong relationships and earn trust with ARI clients Travel to local client locations as required Guide the accounting team by supporting daily accounting operations and providing best practices Experience: BA in Accounting or Finance A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience QuickBooks experience preferred 1-2 years of prior management experience preferred Job Skills and Attributes Strong client-facing and teamwork skills Ability to provide constructive feedback/mentor their team Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities Attention to detail Benefits Medical, Dental and Vision health plans Group Insurance Plans 401k Hybrid work schedule Professional Development - Clear career path Tuition Assistance Program Charitable donations Flex time Holiday pay Floating Holidays Paid time off Company lunches Company outings Staff Recognition Awards
