MILFORD WATER UTILITIES DEPT HAS AN IMMEDIATE OPENING FOR Water System technician The Town of Milford is seeking a Water Utilities Department Water System Technician. This is a 40 hr/wk union (Teamster's) position. The successful candidate must be able to perform a variety of semi-skilled and skilled functions including reading, installing, replacing, removing, testing, maintaining water meters and backflow devices, and attending to various water distribution system tasks. NH CDL-B license, NH Grade I Water Treatment and Distribution Certification, and Backflow Prevention Device Inspector Certification required, OR the ability to obtain same within one (1) year of employment. HS diploma or equivalent plus two (2) years of experience in the operation and maintenance of water facilities OR any combination of education and experience demonstrating possession of the required skills and abilities.
