The Lafayette Branch of the YMCA of Northern Colorado is seeking a Membership and Fitness Coordinator to welcome our members, provide tours, member onboarding, wellness coaching, group exercise and personal training, assist members with navigating the web, online schedules, equipment, and facilities. This position is full time 40 hours per week, year-round. This role requires a flexible schedule and must be willing to work some weekends. The goal of this role is to add cohesiveness to the membership and fitness department. We want someone who is passionate about both customer service and healthy living. Requirements/Qualifications Provides excellent customer service to members, guests, and program participants in the Y and on the phone, applying all YMCA policies dealing with member and guest services, and contributing to member retention. Sells memberships and accurately processes all necessary membership and program transactions. Answers questions from members to support them in achieving their goals related to healthy living. Maintains knowledge of various YMCA programs; provides effective information and support to members. Uses "Listen First", and other relationship building skills. Participates actively in member onboarding process, including selling memberships, conducting tours, member onboarding and orientations. Monitors and instructs members on the safe and effective use of equipment. Always works only within scope of qualifications and always maintains confidentiality of member information. Communicates any problems, concerns or "mission moments" with supervisor. Follows-up on communication as needed to ensure resolution. Ask questions for more clarification. Reads weekly updates. Assists the HF Director with administrative tasks, programming, cleaning/organizing, fitness orientations, personal training and/or group exercise (certifications required). Works cohesively with all staff to provide continual communication with staff and leadership from all departments. Other duties as assigned by supervisor. Salary range $14.65-$16 per hour based on experience. In addition, we offer a +10% differential for staff who work the opening shift and another +10% differential for bilingual staff who test as fluent in Spanish and English. OUR BENEFITS ROCK.
