Position: Heavy Truck MechanicArea: Transportation/ShopLocation: Denver, CO - Franklin YardWage Range: $30 to $35 per hourIHC Scott is seeking a heavy truck mechanic for our Franklin shop.Responsibilities:- Transmission and gear service and repair- Electrical diagnostics and repair- Air Conditioning repair- After Treatment system diagnostics and repair- Hydraulic systems maintenance and repairs- Truck and trailer suspension maintenance and repair- General welding as needed- Air brake systems including air disc brakes and ABS systems- Willing to work outside as work requires this at times- Perform DOT annual inspections and PM services as required by DOT regulationsQualifications:- Minimum of 5 years of verifiable general service and repair of semi-truck and trailers . Construction fleet experience preferred but not required.- Requirement to own your set of tools for full service truck repair. Company does not provide tools or tool allowance- Transportation to and from work required- 5 years verifiable experience with heavy semi-truck and trailer repair and DOT requirements- Knowledge of computer diagnostic equipment and programs.
